I finally posted an official status of sorts on SoT's site, and a general overview of what I've been up to.  Feel free to give that a gander, if you're the sort.

And if you don't know what SoT is, hi there!  You're probably here for the thing I've been working on instead.  That's fine!  We both love that thing, I hope. I hope that's why you're reading it.

Speaking of Imagion (briefly mentioned in your site notice), I can't help but notice something...

While likely non-canon, I have, for years, considered Crystal Dreams and Immortal Legacy canon, and pretty much "series 2" and "series 3" to the original Imagion. I've actually developed a bit of a headcanon.

The reason that, by the time of Immortal Legacy, only Sam, Dian, Zippy, Sophie, Rion, and that other Half-Plantian girl are the only ones still on the ship are because...
So much time has passed since Crystal Dreams, all the human and short-lived members of the original crew are too old to go out adventuring.

The only exceptions to this are Shane and the pint-sized supergenius. Shane, while a Half-Dead, has lost so many of his emotions over the years that he's gone into self-imposed exile, no longer feeling any emotional attachment to his old friends (and Aris possibly joining him in his exile). The supergenius (I want to say his name was Andy), due to his heel-face turn, is still around largely due to scientific means.

Naturally, this does include the plot hole of how Sam's parents are still around, but they could just be a fair bit older now, but still kicking around, and like Sam's old crew, are likely still on Earth and living in relative peace.

I've also, in my wilder moments, dabbled in the idea that Cirhiunhnn isn't just a dimensional traveler, but an alternate version of Captain Boyd who gained her powers after the breakdown of her alternate reality. XD

I've also developed the headcanon that the reason so many aliens drop pop culture references and Glen and Roy are such weeaboos is because, while Earth is too primitive for true space travel, the aliens of the galaxy still monitor our culture, and have thus marketed our "space pirated" entertainment on mall planets like Glen and Roy's. XD

Which, interestingly, would also mean that the alien chef on the Imagion in Immortal Legacy learned Earth recipes this way, despite not being able to taste them due to not breathing oxygen. I imagine he enjoys cooking Earth food because most alien cultures consider it "exotic," or "exciting."

With my insomnia, laying in bed at night and needing something to think about, I've actually pretty much consolidated all three Imagion series into one cohesive three-part series, complete with filling in blanks you never revealed quite creatively, culminating in one giant "Imagion: The Headcanon Trilogy" that I can never truly share with anyone except myself. XD
